ANDERSON/PARKER/FARRIS
On 15 December 1903, George Anderson of Gateshead, Co.Durham obtained a divorce from his wife Clara Anderson nee. Parker. The divorce was granted in the Chancery Court, Pike County, Mississippi. I believe the court was actally in Magnolia. Point to note, Geo Anderson was a sea going engineer. To the best of my knowledge Clara was never out of the UK.
On the same date, 15/12/1903, George married a Miss Inez Farris. I have searched US records as far as I am able but can find no trace of Inez Farris.But then, I cannot be certain she was a US citizen.
Any info regarding these people would be of immense help. I should add ,George was my grandfather |
