I am looking for decendants of my grandfather, CHESTER REYNOLDS,British subject, born 1883, oiginal ANZAC, journalist, editor Queensland Mining Journal until 1947. Lived in Brisbane with Wife Linda(not my grandmother) Had liason with Mary Maud Burke(My father, John Burke the result, born in 1919). I am looking for any issue from this marriage to Linda.
Also Reynold's Great-Grandfather was WILLIAM PATERSON (1755 -1810) was a acting Govenor of New South Wales around 1799. Founded Launceston, Tasmania around 1805.
I want to know if there was any issue from his marriage because there is a big gap between W. Paterson and my grandfather, C. Reynolds.
CAN ANYONE OUT THERE SHED SOME LIGHT? I would be most grateful as I have only recently dicovered all this information and want to further investigate my, roots,since they are apparently steeped in early Australian history
