Through the process of elimination this appears to be my family but not definately proven yet.
John Roberts s/o Edward 1674 Estyn, siblings Mary1677, Thomas 1680, Catherine 1683, William 1690, Edward 1692, James 1696, Catherine 1697.
John married Catherine Williams in 1699 In Uwchynymydd Ucha.
John had Edward 1708 (who I think is mine) Sarah 1705 Jane 1712, Thomas 1715 all born in Uwchymynydd Issa, Robert 1717 in Nerewys.
Edward 1708 married Martha Vaughan in Malpas 1734. His son Thomas 1753 died in Iscoyd in 1837 as well as daughter Martha who we think became Grett, Other children were William 1739 (mine) Mary 1747, Sarah 1747, Anne 1749, Elizabeth 1750, Charles 1757 all born in Malpas. I believe some of these lived in Wales.
The other possibility is John Roberts s/o Edward born in Rhanberfedd in 1688. The siblings are Catherine 1687, James 1691, Martha 1695.
John had children Richard, 1701, John 1704, Margaret 1708, Edward 1711, Robert 1716, William 1718. Son John 1704 is buried in the churchyard of St Cynfarch, Hope, along with the rest of his family.
The Rhanberfedd family is the one I am trying to eliminate. I am trying to find the death or marriage of Edward 1711 or the buriel site of the other siblings.
