| In Ireland @ 1797 Wm. SCOTT was born to Nicholas & Jane SCOTT. Wm. Married Frances (?) who was born in Ireland @ 1796. They had 3 or 4 chlldren all born in Ireland Jane@ 1832, Catherine @1837 James ?and Wm. J. Born @1845. They came to America after 1845. Wm J. SCOTT was in Civil War Co. A 1st, Reg. NJ Volunteers, a private enlisted 5/16/1861. Discharged 6/4/1862. Wm.J. SCOTT married Eliza POWELL 2/4/1874 in Newark, NJ Had son John Wesley SCOTT B. 6.6.1880 Married Mable Lorina MORRIS 10/29/1903. WmJ. SCOTT d. 9/13/1893 Eliza d.5/24/1908 both buried Newark, NJ. I would love to find where in Ireland my husbands family came from or anymore information thanks you all so much. |
