Searching for several people relating to Mary Brown Greenwood/Poirier/Fraser born in Ayr, Scotland possibly on 14th August 1940?
When she was three her parents and her emigrated to Canada. She returned to Scotland years later after marrying Daniel Poirier in Toronto on 31st January 1968.
A half sister named Michelle Roger Poirier was born to them on the 29th May 1968 at Ayrshire Central Hospital , Irvine.
Due to unemployment Daniel Poirier wanted to return to Canada and did so without his wife and daughter.
Mary formed another relationship resulting in my birth on 3rd January 1971 also at Ayrshire Central Hospital. My fathers domineering mother put a stop to their wish to be married.
After about 15 months I was given up for adoption.
Mary, I believe, remarried and moved away from the area and had another daughter, Marianne Elizabeth Fraser, on the 14th September 1973 at the Memorial Hospital in Andover, Hampshire. Mariannes' fathers name was John Fraser who was a Lance Corporal in the Royal Scots. He was born in Preston Pans,Scotland. Date unknown.
Both Michelle and Marianne were then given up for adoption in 1975.
I am in contact now with Marianne (Ann)and we would both like to hear any information regarding any of the other above named people. Also still have no name as to whom my father is but he was the son of a caravan site proprietor at Doon Valley Caravan Park in Dalrymple,Ayshire obviously around 1970.
