I would like to trace a lady I met in 1938 at the London Gliding Club in Dunstable. She was having a short holiday, staying with, I think, an uncle.
Her name was Paulette Smith and her home was in Burnley, Lancashire. She would probably be in her eighties. The only other thing I know is that she was studying dress design. During the second year of the war, she had a friend, or fiance in the Navy and we exchanged a couple of letters. |
