I am looking for information about my great grandfather James Gibson. I think he was born in Oakley in 1857. I also think he was in the Scots Guards. He moved to England & married my great grandmother Ellen Allum in the late 1870's & their eldest son was born in Langley, Bucks around 1880/81.
They then moved to Battersea, London & then on to Watford in Hertfordshire in around 1909.
