Looking for information regarding parents and siblings of Sir George Jackson, b. Oct. 1785 and d. May 1861. He was married (I think his second wife) to Lady Catherine Hannah Charlotte Elliott in 1856. She was daughter of Thomas Elliott.
Sir George was supposed to have served in Napoleonic Wars. According to an old note I recently found, he was my gggrandfather's uncle.
My gggrandfather was William Jackson, b. 1834, England, d. 1895 Sulphur, Henry Co. Kentucky, USA. He was married to Margarett W. Burke, b. 1834 Ireland, d. 1907 Kentucky.
Thanks for any help on this line. The Jacksons have been a brick wall for me for a long time. |
