| Looking for information about Carswell's of middle or old parish Greenock, Renfew, Scotland as my anscestor, John Carswell, a sailmaker b.c1828 or 1821 was born there. He married Margaret Millar in 1854 in that parish before moving to Liverpool. Two of their children have unusual names. One of their sons was John Carter Carswell another Janet Lusk Carswell. Perhaps these are significant names from these families. |
