I am looking for information on my gr. gr. gr. grandparents. John McGee, spouse, Helen Haggerty, McGee. They were married in Ireland in 1827. They must have emigrated to Scotland or Canada because I found John in the 1881 Canadian census. John was born in 1802, Helen in 1807. I t did not list Helen in the 1881 census, maybe she was dead. We always thought we were Irish until I started to search for our great grandfather and found he was born in Scotland.
