I am searching for information on my Irish ancestors which I believe came from either Cork or Waterford. They would have came to Newfoundland in somewhere between the late 1600's and the late 1800's, probably in search of fish.
I have found records in the mid 1800's for Terry's living in Newfoundland, in the communities Coachman's Cove, St. Patrick's, Harbour Main, Avondale, and Chapel's Cove.
