Great Grandfather named John Robert HEDLEY, his
wife was Ann. His son, my Grandfather named James Robert HEDLEY, born LONDON UK 1854. His wife's maiden name was Mary Ann YOUNG. James Hedley arrived in Victoria, Australia approximately early 1880's. He was a tailor by trade, James & MAry had one son named John William Ford HEDLEY.
I wish to make a connection between (Brothers) Ralph & Johnson Hedley well known North-county (artists/scuptors/woodcarvers) of Newcaste-on-Tyne U.K.
Ralph born 1849 died June 1913, married Sarah (1881 & 1901 census)Durham
children Esther, Florence, Roger, Ralph & Frederick.
Johnson married Elizabeth (1881 & 1901 census)
