| I am looking for any living descendants of Alexander CAMPBELL [son of Alexander CAMPBELL] (born 1809 Helensburgh, Row, Dunbarton, Scotland), and his wife Mary CAMPBELL [daughter of John OWENS who left Belfast on 6 July 1855](nee OWENS born 1809), Belfast, Antrim, Ireland. They had six children born in Helensburgh Scotland: Mary CAMPBELL and Margaret CAMPBELL emigrated to New Zealand and both married Thomas PEACOCK. Their brothers Hugh CAMPBELL and James Palmer CAMPBELL also came to New Zealand and married. There were two other daughters, Isabella CAMPBELL born 25 March 1843 and Catherine CAMPBELL born 19 July 1847. I would be interested in hearing from any living descendants of any siblings of the father Alexander CAMPBELL. Many thanks. |
