| I am looking for anyone who may know my father.His name is Harold Cheetham and was born in 1929, he was a trainee jeweller from Birmingham when he met my mother at Filey Butlins her name is Vera Stafford and lived in Netherfield, as a result of their relationship i was born in 1951, my father did see me when i was a few days old and continued to pay maintenance through a nottinghamshire court until i was 16yrs old.Iam now a 53 year old grandmother myself and i have never met my father so thefore cant even picture him in my mind, i would just like to know what he looks like as when my mother married she was asked by her husband to throw them away. my mother is now a widow and has always held a torch for him and i know that if it was possible she would love to say hello again my mum says that harold had elderly parents to care for at the time of my arrival so that was all the committment he could manage at the time so there are no hard feelings. my mum lives in nottinghamshire on her own and i now have a bar in portugal. I have three sons, shawn lives with me, scott who has two sons of his own and lives in dinnington and paul who is in the army.please if anyone knows of him ar his whereabouts please conntact me. |
