Looking for information on the parents of James Jackson Martin / Martine / McMartin, born in 1831, Greenup County, Kentucky. James parnets born in Virginia. James bought property in Madison Township, Scioto County, Ohio in 1854. He then married a Harriet Swaim in 1858 in Scioto Co., Ohio. James and Harriet were the parents of twelve children. Stephen A , George S,. Lewis J.,Maria J, Henry T, Josephine M, David E, James W, Laura V, Joseph V, Rose L, Daisy D, all born in Scioto Co., Ohio. Harriet parents are George Swaim and Lucinda Westcoat / Westcott. George and Lucinda were the parents of twelve children too. Stephen Aronld Martin and Lillie May Yantis were the parents of six Children all born in Ohio.Stephen and Lillie lived in Miami Co., Ohio or Clark Co., Ohio. Lillie Yantis parents are John Yantis and Elizabeth Oakes. Stephen is my husband grandfather. Would love to share information with you. Any information would be very, very appreciated.
