| Im looking for the birthplace of my gggrandfather James Emerson. He was born 1838, parents were James Emerson & Mary Carlile, he married Jane Hagan in Clough Meeting House, Loughinisland, County Down in 1856. Both were living in Drumcaw, Loughinisland at the time of marriage. They left Ireland in early 1860s and settled in Dunbartonshire in Scotland. Any help or suggestions much appreciated. |
