| Can anyone give me any info on My ggfather who l believe came from Cork with his brothers and 2 sisters their names where William Purcell my ggfather Albert called Bert,William,Frank called Fred,Syril or spelt Cyril the sisters was Florrie,Violet,we know that Violet was 13yrs when they came from Cork Ireland.William married someone named Alice or Agnes Hargreaves or it could have been Argreaves not too sure.I don't know if they married in Ireland or they married when they came to UK William had quite a few children their names where Eli my gfather Fredrick,Albert known as Bret,William known as Billy,Frank known as Nipper,there were 2sisters but l don't know what their names were.they all lived in Wimblebury near Hednesford or as it was called years ago Hegford.Eli had 4 children 3 boys and 1 daughter their names was Ralph my father Kenneth, Stanley,all deceased,there is only my Aunt Sheila and and she is over 70yrs and she lives in London.My gfather Eli married Sarah Elizebeth Buckley also from Wimblebury,they moved to 4 John Street Wimblebury Eli went in the Royal Field Artillery for 3 yrs sadly he fell and went in a coma and died in 1936 he was 39yrs so if anyone can tell me anything at all l will say thankyou.Barbarb Tune nee Purcell |
