ROBERT CRAWFORD - SCOTLAND
Abt 1798 SCOT - d: aft 1880 in Michigan
I'm looking for information on ROBERT & ELIZABETH CRAWFORD of Glascow/Glasgow Lanark SCOTLAND. Robert would have been born about 1796 in Scotland and his wife Elizabeth, abt 1798. The couple traveled to the US about 1823 or so, and brought their oldest child, JENNETT CRAWFORD b: 1818 Glascow SCOTLAND at the age of abt. 5 to the Abbeville District of SC. where they resided and continued to build their family.
Jennett Crawford married my g-g-g-g grandfather, William S Mills in the Abbeville Dist., of SC abt. 1839. I found Robert & Elizabeth on the 1850 for that area with their other children and Robert in the household of his son, James Crawford on Jun 1880 (Census)listed as widower in Armada, McComb, Michigan, which is where I suppose he would be buried. I would like to continue the Crawford line of Scotland on back for this family line. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
