My grandmother's brother, George DENTON (born 1878 in Oxford) married
Ellen WOODWARD (born 1875 in Stanton Harcourt) in Oxford in 1903.
In 1901 census George was foreman baker at 179 High Street, in Civil Parish
of
Lee, Ecc. Parish of St. Margaret's, Municipal Borough of Lewisham, Admin.
County of London,
and on the marriage certificate (1903) gave his address as "Woolwich".
Not much to go on, but I would be grateful if someone with access to
relevant Directories and/or Electoral Rolls would please look them up.
