Dear List:
Hi. My great grandfather, David Lloyd, was born in Llanilas, Wales, near Staylittle on a farm called Gronwyn 16 Feb., 1844. He was the son of David and Ann Morgan Lloyd. His brothers were:
Richard, John & Hugh Lloyd. His sister was Mary.
I know that Richard went to New Zealand. I have a picture of him in a Guards uniform. I don't know anything about the rest of the family.
David came to Ohio in 1865, and married Mary Marshall.
I don't know if I have any 3d cousins in Wales, but it would be interesting to find some family there or in N.Z. My grandfather, Harry Lloyd, was the only one of David Lloyd's children to have offspring, so I don't have any 2d cousins on that side of the family.
