Looking for both families.
John McDonald Sr b.1817 married Margaret Campbell b. 1819. Son John Jr. b. 1843 possibly in Canada. Travelled to Australia at some point, married Laura Louisa Palamountain, b 1876 Ballarat Vic. Marriage Cert states he was a widower. Laura Louisa's parents are Samuel Palamountain-Mining Manager, Mother Johanna Catherine Morgan.
