MARSHALL- Looking for info on JOHN MARSHALL born 1807 in Stirling, Scotland. Died 1890 in Puslinch, Ontario, Canada. Came to Canada in 1832. Settled in Hamilton, Ontario, then moved to Puslinch. Married ISABELLA THOMPSON, born 1807. Had 7 children - youngest was ARCHIBALD MARSHALL.
ARCHIBALD MARSHALL was born on 7 April 1852. Married RACHEL RUSSELL. Had 3 sons, (JOHN)NEWTON, RUSSELL AND GLADSTONE.
Especially interested in finding JOHN MARSHALL's parentage. Believe his father was one of two JAMES MARSHALL's born either in Larbert or Campsie, Scotland in May of 1771 or 1776. Any help in determining this would be much appreciated. |
