| Iam researching the Knight Family of Hessenford Cornwall.My Grandmother was Nora Knight and rumour has it that she had relatives who were in the Police force, possibly in Wales and a sister called Beattie whose married name was Oaten. She has the name Pomeroy prefixing Knight on her birth certificate but she never used it.Her married name was Soper having married an Ernest Soper who I believe came from Devon.Ernest was committed to a mental asylum and the family has been reluctant to talk about him. Other areas for Nora Knight are Crediton,Exeter and Weston-super-mare.Any information would be appreciated. |
