Trying to discover what happened to ANN FRASER, born Torbreck, 1809, to ROBERT FRASER and ANN MAITLAND. The story is that her mother, a daughter of the 8th Earl of Lauderdale, eloped to marry Robert in Edinburgh in 1807. There were two other siblings, ELEANOR FRASER (b 1812) and ALEXANDER (b. 1820)It is believed the marriage broke up and that the mother died about 1829.
Seeking evidence that ANN could have moved south and married ROBERT ROBSON at Wark on Tyne, Northumberland, in 1837.
