I am trying to help an elderly friend locate a friend that he made while stationed in Scotland during World War II. Her name was Sylvia Snowball. She was from the Croyden area where her father was a barrister or solicitor. After the war, she married someone in the newspaper business and lived, at least for a while, in Edinburgh. We would appreciate information or references. Thanks.
