| I am hoping to connect with some member of the Bowers descendents in the Sacriston, Newcastle area, descendents of John George and Rebecca Bowers. Rebecca died in 1900,after having 3 children. John remarried in 1902, to Martha Birtley. They had several children and then emigrated to FRairbury, Illinois, in the USA. A few years later they moved to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. John was killed in an industrial accident in 1917. |
