G. Grandfather's name was William H.SCOTT born 1848 in Landkey, and his brother was JOSEPH SCOTT born 1863 in Swimbridge, Devon, England. The 1881 census lists JOSEPH as abt. 19 years old still living at home in Hurscott with parents, William and Mary LIVERTON. Other siblings were Sarah, Eliza, Mary Ann who married a JOHN GUBB.
