I am looking for any record of the above family, the surname was usually spelt Seacombe in Co.Down in the late 1800's. Details of family are :-
Thomas SEACOMBE b. 1807 Cornwall. served in the C/Guard, from approx 1830 in Scotland(Whithorn)until approx 1838 when he was posted to Bangor Stn. Belfast Port Co.Down. removed 1842 to Taro Stn,Newry Port,Donaghdee dist. removed 1850 to Ballyhalbert Stn.Strangford Port,Donaghadee dist. became Roddens Station. He died 1862 Roddens Stn Co.Down. Thomas married :-

Isabella MC CLELLAND 1832 Stranrar, Scotland. Their children were :-
William McClelland SECOMBE b.1833 Whithorn,Scotland
Alexander SECOMBE b.Wigtown abt 1840.M.Melvina Vincent,Australia 1864. Died Georgetown Aust. 1885.
Mark SECOMBE, b. 1842,Whithorn.m. Lizzie Mulholland 1875 Suffolk. Died 1889 Walton,England. He joined the R.N. and later the C/Guard.
Elizabeth H. SEACOMBE b. abt 1843 ? Died 1862, buried Church of Ireland Balligan,Parish of Inishargy, C.Down.Ireland
Andrew SECOMBE b. 1847,Portaferry,Ireland.M. Emmma Chaston 1875 Duffus,Scotland. He joined R.N. and later C/Guard.Died 1884 Suffolk,England
John SEACOMBE b. 1851.Baptised Roddens.C/G stn, Ballywalter, Co.Down, Ireland.
Louis SEACOMBE B. 1852, Roddens St. Ballywalter, Co. Down,Ireland.

I have no record of what happened to Isabella and her two sons John and Louis SEACOMBE after Thomas' death in Co.Down. I am hoping someone may have some information on them. Alexander SECOMBE was my G.Grandfather
