Looking for any help on locating the following record or family of:
Alexander Stewart
Born: April 11, 1826 in Scotland. He eventually married Christina(e) (Cristy) McLean B: abt Feb 2, 1830. She also was born in Scotland.
According to the Ontario, Canada Cristy came to Canada in 1848 and Alexander came in 1850, so I'm suspecting that they may have married here in Canada and not in Scotland, but, again not sure. I know neither of their parents or siblings as of yet or from whence they came in Scotland.
I have checked numerous marriage records for Ontario but haven't found either name listed.
If anyone has any connections or clues or even a sugestion it would be so greatly appreciated!
