| Looking for any info re my gggrandfather Edward John King who emmigrated to New Zealand in the early 1860's. He would have been in his late teens at that time. His death cert lists his profession as a butcher, the same as his father.His parents as a Samuel and Elizabeth King but that is all the info I have.I am assuming he was born in England and maybe left from London or Gravesend.He died in 1880 at the age of 36yo , leaving his surviving wife Harriet and eight children.Any info greatly appreciated. |
