| Looking for the names of siblings and wives of my ancestors. Oral tradition of family is that John Fraser of Inverness left Scotland in 1747 following Culloden. Landfall in Wilmington, North Carolina and traveled up the Cape Fear River settling in Maxton, Richmond Co, NC. John had son William who had son William who had son Alexander, born 1771 NC, died 1851 in Chambers County, Alabama. Family has list of @450 descendants of Alexander and his wife Christian Stuart/Stewart, married 1803, NC. Thank you! Bonnie Boggs |
