Hello:
Am searching for info re: grandfather John Thomas HOWELL, born March 1889, Aston district (census), immigrated to Canada. His sister Elisabeth, born March 1897, followed him. Both settled in British Columbia. A large family, a second sister, Harriet, (or variation?) purportedly emigrated to Australia but was never heard from again. Thomas died at 35; Elizabeth told us a relative was Lord Mayor of Cardiff. If that's correct, family was possibly near there. Would be grateful for any facts pertaining to either relative. |
