Searching for Scottish ancestors. Janet MCDONALD
who married ROBERT RUSSELL 1832 Stonehouse Scotland. They came to Australia approximately 1850's [believe separately to their children,[all born Stonehouse] Janet b 1833, William b 1836 John McDonald b 1839 and Robert b 1842,approx. 1857.
I would appreciate help in finding the parents and siblings of Janet MCDONALD. I believe her brother JOHN MCDONALD [b Stirling Scot.?]arr: Adelaide 1839 per "Lysander". married in Adelaide Isabella ROSS 1840 but I need to prove that John McD and this Janet above are siblings. She appears to have been born 1797 re her death notice in Sth Aust. in 1884 aged 87. Any other information regarding these people would be very much appreciated.
Also looking for descendants of John WATT who married Elizabeth WALKER daur of John. John and his other children, HELEN, THOMAS, MARGARET AND JAMES arr in Adelaide 23/2/1840 per "India". Elizabeth & JOHN WATT remained in SCotland. In John WALKER's will of 1853, he died 1857 Adelaide, he mentions his daur Elizabeth wife of John WATT of Seaton House, ABERDEEN. They may have had children named JAMES & ELIZABETH WATT. JOHN WALKER noted as "from Glasgow".
