It is a long shot but I hope someone may be able to help me.
I am researching my father's side of the family and the main names are WATERFIELD AND WATSON. In this instance I am looking for descendents of Mary Waterfield, George Waterfield, John George Waterfield and Michael Waterfield.
I know they emigrated to Canada in the 1920/30's. Mary was a spinster until her death, Michael had a wife called Letitia and a daughter Gertie who they called Buddy and a son called Edward. Michael worked for the Brit.Singer Corp. I think the others worked on the Canadian Pacific Railway. The family originated from Leicester.
