I'm looking for the DICKSON family descendants of the Mouswald / Woodside / Torthorwald area of DUMFRIESSHIRE in the 19th Century and early 20th.
My grandfather Thomas Graham Dickson 1885 - 1935 migrated to Australia early 1900s was the son of Thomas Dickson 1856-1932 Blacksmith, married to Mary Brown c1855 - 1913 and Marion Blair 1879-1941. His siblings were Margaret, Agnes, Jacob, Mary & Robert.
My Great Grandfather was in turn the son of Jacob Dickson 1823-1896, Blacksmith who married Jane (Jean) Wells c1834-1911. They seemed to run the Woodside Smithy.
Am doing a family tree for my children and trying to fill in the gaps. Any help would be appreciated. |
