Looking for info on one: Greta Edmondson born abt: 1909 in the Barrow-in-Furness area, Greta is my stepfather's mother, she & my stepfather's father (Harold Whittal) divorced when he & his sister were young, he was 4 years old when he last saw her, he thinks she may have moved to or near the London area, and while we do realise that she may no longer be living, he just wants to know what became of his mother over the years that past, she may have remarried perhaps even had other children, but he just wants to know something about his mother's life, as I said he never saw or heard from her again after the divorce, incidentally my stepfather is also called: Harold Whittall.
