Does anyone know where I could find a list of Campbells that left Scottland and settled in Ireland? I know there were quite a few but anyway. I would be interested in the timeperiod 1600-1800. My research ands right now with a James Campbell born around 1775. His son Duncan was born about 1803 and lived in Townamoil, Co.Leitrim, Ireland when he got married. If a bell rings by reading this please let me know. I am pretty sure that they came from Scotland. The area they lived in was a scottish settlement.
