Looking for information on or descendants of Clara Louisa Hartley Nee Nicholson and George Henry Hartley, married 6th July 1893 at Bradford UK. Clara was born 1864 in Melbourne Australia and is the daughter of James Charles Wilson Nicholson, b: 1838 Bradford, son of the founder of Nicholson Organ Builders in the UK. Clara had a brother Louis Edwin, b:1862 Melbourne Australia. He stayed in Australia. James Charles Wilson Nicholson established a chain of very successful music importing stores in Australia. He came to Australia in December 1859 after marrying Diana Rushworth, an innkeeper's daughter, in September 1859 at Bradford.
I found Clara's birth details but nothing else until her marriage to George Henry Hartley. I don't know when she went to the UK, if she had any children, when or where she died and where she is buried. Any information would be greatly appreciated. This information is required for an ongoing research project and for the members of the family in Australia who didn't know about their family history and would be delighted to find their relatives, if any, in the UK or elsewhere.
