I am trying to locat my natural father or any members of his family. I was born in Bath, Somerset, in October 1949 and given the name Anthony Joseph-McGrath. My mother, VALERIE JEAN CLEMENT nee TUDBALL tells me that my fathers name was ALBERT MCGRATH and that he was 30 at that time (making him about 85/86 today). Sadly he left my mother before my birth and I was subsequently placed for adoption.
I would dearly love to meet him or any of his family (my relations), I believe that he may well have had several children. I am also told that he originally came from the Lyme Regis area, but every lead I follow seems to come to a dead end.
If anyone has any information that seems to tie in with this I would be most grateful to hear. I understand from my mother that the name DAVID was also significant within the family as a family name. |
