| Jellicoe Turner married Elizabeth Walker in 1812. As the landed gentry appear to have had a perpencity to change their names I can only conclude that Mr Turner adopted Jellicoe then didnt use it again after the wedding which makes finding them slightly difficult. Is it linked to the passion they had for all things naval as this (walker) family used the same church as Lord Nelson so their may be an naval connection. Does this help anyone with a Turner they cant find who married Elizabeth walker. |
