| My g.g.grandfather,David Gam DAVIES joined the Royal Navy in 1806 at the age of 12. The Admiralty records show that he was born in Bristol, Gloucs. in around 1793, passed as Lieutenant in 1815 and died in London in 1853.While on Half Pay he acted as a physician in Claines, Worcs.He does not appear in the London 1851 Census. Can anyone help me to find the Bristol parish he was born in.(Originally our ancestors came from Pencarreg,Carmathenshire) |
