Hi there
I am trying to trace any family of my Dad. His name is Keith Hall. He was born in 1943 in Lambeth, London.
His Mothers name was Mary Ellen Barclay although her maiden name may have been Mary Ellen Griffiths. We believe she was married to Mr Barclay and that my Dad was a war baby born to Mary and Frederick Hall (who could have been an american soldier).
It is also possible that Mary had other children in her marriage. My Dad was fostered out from around the age of 6 months. He remembers a foster family with the name Kendall, also that he was fostered in various places around the country.
Another memory he has, is being poorly and being sent to various places to recover but he does not know what was wrong with him. Obviously this memory could be the same as the foster homes but he doesnt think so.
I would really appreciate it if anyone who knows anything would contact me and also any tips or advice as to where to go from here.I am only just starting out at this for my Dad and I am hoping to gather other information which may be helpful.
