I am looking for "distant cousins" of my CARSON, HEMPHILL, lines....
Samuel CARSON son of James & ? (?) CARSON, born about 1827 in Northern Ireland, married martha HEMPHILL, daughter of William & Mary (CURRENCE) HEMPHILL on Aug 16, 1853, Parish of Derrykeighan, district of Ballymoney, county Antrim, Northern Ireland. They were to have had 11-13 children, so far I have found only 9 of them.
1. James 1854-1913 married elizabeth ANDERSON, 6 knoen children bet. 1880-1892
2. William 1855-1934 married Annie PATTERSON, 7 known children , bet. 1889-1906 some children moved to Pennsylvania, USA
3. Andrew ?-1959 married Grace ? nothing furter
4. David 1864-? married Martha Jane TAGGART, 8 known children , bet. 1889-1910
5. Samuel Edward 1864-1925 married Margaret Jane MCCAULEY on Feb 24, 1887 in Philadelphia, PA, USA, 4 children. (my line)
6. Martha 1866-?
7. Thomas 1867-1954, married Marth MCLAUGHLIN on Nov 13, 1891 in dunluce, 12 children, bet 1892-1914 some children moved to Canada & USA
8. Benjamin 1869-1958, married Elizabeth FERGUSON , 4 known children , no further
9. Margaret 1871-?
