Searching for Edwin Birchall B 1907 Barton Upon Irwell, Manchester. His parents were Harry Birchall of Newcastle Under Lyme and Mary (nee Hepburn) of Manchester.
Edwin travelled the country as a demonstrator and teacher of gymnastics at YMCA's. He married Gladys Price in Eccles Manchester in 1935 and had a daughter Glenys in May 1935. He left them in 1945 and could have remarried - some say he had twin boys. Others say that he was already married when he married Gladys.
His family moved from Manchester to Neath (Wales)in the early 1910's and he may have visited his family there after he and Gladys split. He also had connections in Blackpool and rumour has it he moved back to his father's home town of Newcastle Under Lyme Staffordshire.
We cant find any trace of him at all and Glenys would love to know if she has any half brothers and sisters out there.
Ted's brothers and sisters were Frank B 1908, Jack B 1910(c), Henrietta b (1901) Mary and Edith (twins) 1917.
