CAMPBELL FAMILY OF COATBRIDGE,GLASGOW.
Am searching for info on Lachlan Hanlan Campbell born 1855 at 20 Clyde Terrace, Glasgow. His father was William Campbell born c1826 Glasgow,mother Agnes McKay born c1827 Glasgow.
Lachlan married Isabella Milne at Stewartsland, Cliftonhill, Old Monkland in 1878. They had at least 5 children, William b.1881, John b.1882,(both in Coatbridge) Henry b.1885 in England, Alexander b.1886,Peter b.1892 (both in Coatbridge).
The 3 eldest sons were spirit salesmen according to 1901 census. They lived in somewhere which looks like Kildonan House in Coatbridge then.
My great grandfather was John Campbell who went to Liverpool but died in 1915.
I am completely stuck as to the whereabouts of the rest of the family. Has anyone got these names in their tree, I am getting very desperate!!! |
