Am looking for my birth mother. I was born on September 7th 1969 in Margate Kent and adopted shortly after. My birth mothers name was Janet and was working in the Margate area although I understand she had Northern links.
My name before adoption was Fiona.
As I understand it she had great doubts about having me adopted and only agreed after meeting my brother and seeing how happy he was in the family I would be going to. This is unusual in itself and may ring a bell.
