| I am looking for my moms child i dont have a lot of information. Her name at the time of birth was Kathleen Mary Gizzie. Born January 13 1942. She got pregnant at 12 years old and had the child when she was 13 years old in either 1954-1955. She cant remember the month or date on wich she had the baby but she says it was cold out at the time. she had the baby in Wigan Infermary, and then she was sent to Billinge Convalescent. They took the baby from her at birth because she was so young. They told her she had a boy but i have contacted the family finders in england and they cant seem to find a boy named Gizzie at that year but they did find a Carol Gizzi(no e) born in 1955. Registered in the March Quarter of 1955. I dont know if they just told her she a boy so she couldnt find her child later on because she was so young. I did a search on Carol Gizzi and found that her last name is Mayhew now, living in greater London. If anyone can help please let me know we have been searching for many years now and no luck. Thank You |
