ALEXANDER: Searching for Alexander Alexander, possibly from Angus Scotland. Born around 1750 -1777, relocated to USA in the state of Maine, (Northport, Waldo Co.) around 1797.
He is said to be a descendent of William Alexander, First Earl of Stirling.
In 1797 a son was born named Mathew (Martin).
I do not have information on his wife or the 200+ year spread between him and the Earl.
If I could find that connection it would be greatly appreciated
