Searching for our relative Ted Birchall (Edwin) born 11 January 1907 in Barton Moss/Eccles Manchester. His parents were Mary Thompson and Henry Birchall (known as Harry)both born Barton on Irwell, Manchester in 1885. Ted had brothers Frank b 1908 (married Bronwen Daniels & Dylis ??) died in Neath Wales in 1980's, Jack (John) b 1912 Neath s Wales - he married and moved away but we don't know where. Ted also had twin sisters Mary(1917-1946) and Edith (1917-1920.
He moved back to the Manchester area in his teens and lived with his mother's sister Janet and her husband Bill Jones at Bean Fields Worsley. in 1935 he married Gladys Price in Eccles and had a child Glenys in May 1935. The marriage didnt work out and he moved away and later remarried.
Ted was an enthusiastic gymnast and demonstrated his skills around the country at YMCAS. His daughter Glenys is now 70 years old and has not seen him or heard of him since she was 10 years old. He may no longer be alive but there may be other family and friends who remember him - WE ARE DESPERATE TO HAVE ANY NEWS OF HIM, HOWEVER SMALL - PLEASE CONTACT US!
