Hi!
Iam searching for news of Jean Wilson who was 16 years old around 1946. Her address at the time was 3 Clara St.Warrington Lancs.
I am her daughter born Linda Pierce Wilson on 11/05/1946. A very unusual middle name!. She cared for me as best as she could despite the very difficult social structure at the time. She may have fostered me out privately for a while, and eventually I went into a childrens'home.
I was adopted out in the early fifties by a family named Mac Naughton who lived in Erdington Birmingham.
Jean may be deceased by now (I do hope not)
but there may be siblings out there.
My adoptive mother did not want to know any details of my background so that if I asked, she would not be able to tell me. Times have changed so much for the better!
I would so love to know something
